Motherhood-a beautiful bond

I look at the baby sleeping next to me and thank the Almighty for blessing me with this pure, innocent and adorable angel.Motherhood is a divine bliss which demands patience and lots of sacrifices. But mind you,it's worth every bit of it!

Being a mother has brought out the more sensitive and human side of me.Whenever I see a mother playing with her child in the garden,or dropping him to school or simply feeding the child,I can relate to each of those wonderful ladies.Sometimes I go back in time and remember the unbearable labour pain, the baby blues, the sleepless nights, the efforts to soothe the colic pain and the worries about the unexplainable cries.I am sure almost every mother must have gone through the same phase and witnessed tough times.I am amazed at the smiling faces of these mothers who have being through so much and are still going strong.

But what bothers me is the fact that instead of empathizing and understanding each other,it is often a woman who tends to make life difficult for another woman. If something unpleasant happens to her,she wishes that other ladies too, should go through the same ordeal. She can't digest the fact that another woman has things the easier way. When a lady thinks,

"I suffered, so she should too",it's time to make it clear that your miseries don't give you the licence to spoil other woman's peace and take your frustration out on her.

There are also some amazing women out there who believe in supporting other women and make sure that other ladies don't go through the same pains and difficulties as they.

Only a mother can understand another mother, her anxieties, her concerns and her strengths. Why can't we have a connection based on shared experiences?Let's call this beautiful relationship "Motherhood" and be there for each other.I am sure with this bond in existence,no woman will ever feel lonely as there is a wonderful mother in evey corner of the world, ready to lend support and be there for her 'mother buddies'!
